The Art of Equilibrium

EKILIBRISMOAREN ARTEA is a documentary produced, filmed, and edited during the pandemic, adapting to all the restrictions it imposed.

In that exceptional time, autumn of 2020, four voices from the world of art and culture shared their feelings in front of the cameras, and the documentary captures their deep reflections in that uncertain context.

The piece conveys concern, fear, and unease in an empty and apocalyptic Bilbao.

The protagonists of the documentary are musician and composer Iñaki Garitaonaindia (Gari), writer Katixa Agirre, visual artist Erlea Maneros, and actress Ainhoa Artetxe. Each one shares the limitations in their creative process as well as the difficulties in presenting their work to the public.

EKILIBRISMOAREN ARTEA delves into a space of intimate feelings that we collectively experienced during that time.
