Munduko Plazan

Munduko Plazan is a travel program series, but it’s not just a travel show; it’s an open window to get to know the stories of Basque people living all over the world up close.

On one hand, viewers discover destinations through the eyes of the protagonists themselves, and on the other hand, thanks to interviews conducted by journalist Leire Palacios Egiguren, they also get to learn about a small sample of Basque citizens living in the diaspora.

Munduko Plazan visited Warsaw, Krakow, Mexico City, Athens, Istanbul, Lisbon, and Zurich, capturing the colors and flavors of each place in the one-hour monographic episodes.

The production posed the added challenge of traveling around the world during a pandemic.
