DASTATTOO

Maialen Caballero, Mai, is a professional tattoo artist, and over the course of 8 sessions, she will visit 8 high-end restaurants.

The purpose of the visit is to make an exchange, to barter. The chefs will prepare their best dishes, and Mai will propose a tattoo design for them. By the end of the program, we will find out if the chefs are willing to get the tattoo.

Will Mai achieve her goal?

The Dastatto project consists of 8 pieces, each about 20 minutes long, filmed in renowned restaurants throughout Euskal Herria, including Garena in Dima, Zárate in Bilbao, Mendigoikoabe in Atxondo, R in Donostia, among others.

Mai will visit all these restaurants, explore the kitchens from the inside, and connect with the emotions of the host chefs. We will learn about their culinary proposals as well as their more personal profiles.
