ERRESONANTZIAK

ERRESONANTZIAK is a documentary series about artists who have transformed the contemporary art landscape in the Basque Country.

The project was developed in close collaboration with Artium Museoa, with the aim of bringing contemporary art and its leading figures closer to new audiences through audiovisual storytelling.

The series begins with two key figures in Basque art: Mari Puri Herrero and Esther Ferrer. Two artists, two radically personal journeys and more than four decades of artistic practice offer a unique perspective on much of the recent history of contemporary art through their experiences and work.

The first two episodes are available on ETBON, and the series will continue to explore the work and careers of other major figures in the Basque art scene, including Gema Intxausti and Itziar Okariz.
